Family gathering on another porch...
Drove to Sparta, MI from the U.P. No snow here in snow country. White out conditions from the Mackinac to my brother's home downstate. Aman Family Christmas get together. Fun and games were had by all. We played Golf, Ten Grand, the kids played Pit and Spoons. Way too rough for the Olders. The food was delish, the cookies and apple pies amazing. Really. Our kids kids slid down the same carpeted stairs as they had years ago. Same fun different children. I made family calendars as usual. We played a gift exchange game. The Youngers opened presents with glee! I love spending time with my brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, greats, seconds and in-laws. We are a warm and loving bunch.

Yes, it was a wonderful time. It was so nice to see Michelle and her clan. She is doing a very nice job of raising her brood of 5. I was so impressed with what a nice young man Deve has turned out to be (and handsome too!) Iris is truly beautiful and I was lucky enough to spend some time talking with her. Ivy and Lila were such big helpers and pitched right in where needed and Azalea is just too sweet for words. Philip and Jaxson (Matt and Justin's sons) were just full of energy. I think Jaxson may have loaded some new games on my phone! Dawn's kids are also growing into nice little people. Emma loved playing the card games as Zack is like a rocket ship speeding around the earth. My 2, Alyssa and Hannah, had a wonderful time (in spite of Alyssa's math homework!). Can't wait until our next family gathering!
