The good old days...

These were the good old days.
I still remember how it felt to be a part of a big family. To be so excited with the magic of Christmas. Decorating our tree, baking candy cane cookies and banana bread. Eating our Polish Christmas Eve dinner of pierogi in melted butter. I can remember trying to stay awake so I could see Santa...

Teary eyes on the porch...

Back home after three weeks of travel. It feels good. I'm catching up on my 60 second writer posts...I read some old ones, brought tears to my eyes. My minutes are so heartfelt. Looking back on my blog also reminds me of this good life I have. Such lovely people warm my heart. My grands are so sweet and loving. The look on those little faces when they see Gran...the tears when I leave. I remember being a nine year old and saying, " When I grow up I want to be an old lady." Well here I am and I must say it has been so much fun!

Pain on the porch...
